Our Nature Club program is designed for children ages 5–11 to build outdoor skills and deepen their connection to the natural world. Participants will explore Croton Point Park through site-specific adventures that include fire-making, shelter-building, animal tracking, and foraging. Along the way, they’ll engage in scavenger hunts, plant identification, and hikes, while also learning ancestral crafts such as clay pottery, stone tool making, shell art, and basket weaving with invasive plants. The program also includes hands-on experiences at the water’s edge, where children will fish and search for eels and crabs.
Nature Club will run from September 29, 2025 to October 29, 2025.
Nature Club Schedule: Tuesdays, 3:30pm - 5:00pm (drop-off must occur between 3:30pm - 4:00pm)
Group Size: Max 16 children per session
POLICIES & PRICING:
If you need to miss a session for whatever reason, we cannot offer make up days. The cost of the program includes one weather cancellation. However, if there are subsequent cancellations due to weather after the first one, a credit of 50% of that day will be applied to your account. This means that for every cancellation beyond the initial one, you will receive a 50% credit for that day. All sales are final and nonrefundable, though some conditions may merit program credit. We do not offer refunds or credits for health related absences. Review our latest policies on our website: https://www.rewildingschool.com/policies.
