Birthday Party Guidelines
Activities: Birthday parties consist of one (1) activity and a campfire for a total duration of two (2) hours. Each birthday party includes a campfire at the end for about 30 minutes of light roasting of snacks (not heavy food) by the picnic table.
On-Site Information: There are picnic tables on site but there are no garbage receptacles so you will need to take in and out your belongings and trash. There is one (1) porta-potty on site available for use. For additional food, you can bring whatever else you like, so long as you're able to take all garbage with you on the way out - there are no trash cans on site, and everything we do is carry-in/carry-out.
Guest Arrival Times: Because of the nature of our programming (hiking for and to activities, forest exploration, etc.) families or guests arriving ten (10) minutes or more late to the event may not be able to participate in the activity, but will be able to participate in the campfire after the activity's completion. We encourage all guests to arrive 10-15 minutes early, as we will begin promptly at the event start time.
Food: You are responsible for bringing all the food for the event including anything you'd like kids to cook over the fire. Some popular choices are jiffy-pop popcorn, apple slices, and marshmallows.
Weather: As for rain, or inclement conditions - we hold all our programming, regardless of weather (as long as it is safe to do so). Thunderstorms, or sever winds or other factors that render an outdoor event unsafe are the only reason that we would cancel, at which point, we would reschedule for the next available weekend day/date.
