For ages 4-14 years old

Skip the shopping frenzy and join us for a wild day of adventure! Families are invited to spend the day exploring nature through classic wilderness activities — including shelter building, firemaking, and archery. Enjoy hiking, learning, and playing in the beauty of the Marsh Sanctuary as we take a thankful pause after the holiday to appreciate the nature around us. Families are welcome to bring a picnic lunch.

Parents attend free with student registration.

Zombie Survival Teen Workshop

For ages 10-15 years old

Think you could survive a zombie apocalypse? Put your skills to the test in this one-day, just-for-fun Zombie Survival Workshop for teens! Learn real wilderness survival techniques — from shelter building and fire making to navigation and teamwork.

Celebrate the winter break with nature-themed camp adventures at Marsh Sanctuary and Brinton Brook! Each day offers a unique seasonal focus designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and outdoor fun — even in the coldest months. Children will explore, play, and connect with the natural world through hands-on learning, guided activities, and cooperative games.

Marsh Sanctuary Programs

Friday, December 26 — Animal Tracking
Step into the role of a wildlife detective! Campers will learn how to identify winter animals by reading nature’s clues — from footprints and scat to feathers and forest markings. Discover who’s been walking the trails when no one’s around.

Saturday, December 27 — Winter Art Extravaganza
Celebrate the season through creativity and nature! Campers will gather fallen materials like branches, evergreens, and pinecones to craft beautiful wreaths, crowns, and winter art to take home. A day of imagination, color, and outdoor inspiration.

Wednesday, December 31 — Family New Year’s Day Out
Ring in the New Year surrounded by nature! Families will enjoy a festive day outdoors with guided hikes, nature crafts, and fun winter games. It’s a joyful way to welcome a new year of adventure and connection. Note: One or two parents may accompany their child.

Brinton Brook Programs

When school is out, adventure begins! Our School Break Day Camp invites children to spend the day outdoors exploring nature, building skills, and making memories with friends. Children will enjoy a variety of hands-on activities including shelter building, nature crafts, and guided walks outdoors. Each day blends structured learning with plenty of free play, giving children the chance to recharge, discover, and grow in the fresh air.

Camp times and locations vary by date, so be sure to check the schedule carefully!

When school is out, the winter adventure begins! Our President's Week School Break Camp invites children to spend their days outdoors exploring the late-winter landscape, building skills, and making memories with friends. Campers take part in hands-on activities like shelter building, winter nature crafts, tracking and observation games, and guided hikes through the woods. Each day balances structured skill-building with plenty of free play, giving children space to move, imagine, and recharge in the crisp winter air.

Presidents' Week School Break Camp will run the entire week from Monday, February 16, 2026 to Friday, February 20, 2026.
