Forest Playgroup

Forest Playgroup is designed to supplement standard preschool options in Westchester, providing a natural conclusion to the school day. This program is ideal for children ages 3-5 years old, including those enrolled in UPK or other preschool programs. It offers an opportunity for families to connect with nature and build a community with like-minded individuals. Parents can participate with their child or drop them off.

Program Notes

If caregivers are not in attendance, children must be potty-trained and able to express their needs.
Caregivers can attend Playgroup!
Group Size: Max 10 children with 2 instructors

Playgroup Schedule

Mondays and Wednesdays at Marsh Sanctuary, Mt. Kisco
Tuesdays and Thursdays at Brinton Brook Sanctuary, Croton-on-Hudson
2:30pm - 4:30pm (flex drop off: 2:30pm - 3:00pm)

Forest Playgroup Calendar

Classes starts March 16, 2026 and end on June 11, 2026. There are no classes on the following dates:

Marsh Sanctuary: 3/30, 4/1, 4/6, 5/22, and 5/25
Brinton Brook Sanctuary: 3/31, 4/2

Flex Pass

Families have the flexibility to attend any five sessions throughout the season with the purchase of a flex pass. Each pass is valid for any available class dates within that season, as long as there is space. If you’d like to register another participant, you will need to purchase an additional Flex Pass. Once you’ve used all 5 of your classes, you’ll need to purchase another Flex Pass if you’d like to continue attending.

Using Your Flex Pass: You will need to register ahead of time using the booking link you will receive upon registration.

Unused Flex Passes: Any passes/sessions unused roll over for one more season. For example, unused days from Winter will roll into Spring, and new Spring days will roll into Fall. Please note that Flex Pass days only roll over once—after that, they will expire.

We encourage you to make the most of your Flex Pass by reserving your spot early and enjoying as many classes as possible!
