Forest Preschool program is a half-day, 100% outdoor program for children ages 2.5 - 5 years. It allows children to build their social-emotional toolkit through seasonal crafts and games, adventures across the dozens of acres of land we have access to, and exposure to the region's plants and animals. Our commitment is rooted in the belief that the best way to educate a young mind is through tactile experiences and the wonders of the woods. 

Note: Children must be potty-trained and able to express their needs.

Group Size: Max 10 children per session with 2 instructors

Schedule:

Preschool Time: 9:15am - 12:00pm

Brinton Brook - Tuesdays and Thursdays

Marsh Sanctuary - Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

FOREST PRESCHOOL CALENDAR:

Classes start September 8, 2026 and end on June 11, 2027. There are no classes during the following dates:

• Indigenous Peoples’ Day: October 12, 2026
• Thanksgiving Week: November 23, 2026 –  November 27, 2026
• Winter Break #1: December 21, 2026 - January 1, 2027
• Martin Luther King Jr. Day: January 18, 2027
• Winter Break #2: February 15, 2027 – February 19, 2027
• Spring Break: TBD based on local School District
• Memorial Day Weekend: May 28, 2027 – May 31, 2027
